Our Mission Statement is based on
Matthew 28:19-20.
The mission of Second Missionary Baptist Church is to:

In pursuit of our mission, we observe the following disciplines:
First:
Second Baptist values the un-churched and (lost people) in obedience
to
the Great Commission; we will use every means of honoring Christ
to
pursue
them
(Luke 4:18-19). |

Secondly:
Second Baptist, in its ministry, will attempt to reach both Lost and
Saved. |

Thirdly:
Second Baptist, in its ministry, will serve its members by developing
each
of them
into Effective Functioning Disciples of Christ. |

Fourthly:
Second Baptist seeks to edify the Body of Christ through Effective Ministry,
Demonstrated Discipleship and Committed Stewardship
(Ephesians
4:10-16). |
