SUBJECT: Did You Take Time To Thank The Lord
SCRIPTURE(S): Pslam 107:1-38
SPEAKER: Pastor Charles Price Sr.
- INTRODUCTION: How easy is it to take God's mercy for granted. This Psalm illustrates five pictures of God's mercy toward sinners and their response
I. Travelers (v.4-9) 1. It would be a frightening experience to be lost in the wilderness without food & water.
God not only saved them, he also delivered them to safety.
But did they take time to thank Him?
II. Prisoners (v.10-16)   1. They were no prison because they rebelled against God's will, so they deserved to suffer.
But, when they cried out to God, He heard and freed them.
Did they take the time to thank Him?
III. Suffers (v.17-22)   1. People were dying because of their foolish ways of life; they made their own beds.
  But God mercifully healed them
Did they take time to thank Him?
IV. Sailors (v.23-32)   1. In the midst of a violent storm you can only look up.
They looked up and the Lord rescued them
Did they take time to thank Him?
V. Farmers (v.33-38)   1. Only God can send the rain that turns the wilderness into a garden
Only God can make the cattle multiply.
Did they take time to thank Him?
- CONCULSION: Confess you pride to God. Mercy's loving-kindness edureth forever, everlasting, always, better, best, fair... Thank you Lord
